Treasurer
Role: Responsible for the overall financial matters of the Association.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the financial records of the Association in accordance with general accounting practices.
- Prepare and present current financial statements in writing at each monthly Executive meeting.
- Coordinate the preparation and the presentation of the annual budget for the association.
- Responsible for preparation and depositing of all deposits, which includes balancing, deposit slips, etc.
- Responsible for preparation and payment of all payables (cheques, account payable sheet, receipt balancing).
- Coordinate the collection of registration fees and membership fees charged by the Association. Preparation of all floats needed from registration events. Balancing of all monies received from Community Association events.
- Prepare all grant application forms and submit to Community Development, City of Saskatoon.
- Prepare financial statements for presentation to the community at Annual General meeting.
- Act as co-signatory on documents and cheques drawn on the Associations funds.
- Watch for and encourage new individuals to volunteer for the Community Association.
Time Commitment: Light
- attend monthly Board meetings

- assist at registration nights, membership blitz and social functions
